1. ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE

The Committee deliberates important matters such as the management policy of the association, major projects and proposals to put into the Board of Directors.
The Committee is also responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with other associations relating to machine tools industry, inclusive of Japan Machine Tools Builders' Association.

2. INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE

The Committee is responsible for the international relationships with overseas associations relating to machine tools industries, and organizes or participates international meetings and/or receptions at the occasion of JIMTOF, IMTS, EMO etc. The Committee dispatches distributors' missions to various overseas countries for investigating machine tools builders, and also organizes to accept Japanese market research missions delegated by overseas machine tools distributors' and builders' associations.

3. EDUCATION COMMITTEE

The Committee conducts the educational course, so called SE (Sales Engineer) Certification System, for sales personnel of the association members as well as those for the related industries.

4. RESEARCH and PUBLICITY COMMITTEE

The Committee plans the monthly issue of the "JMTDA NEWS" which contains various statistics and survey data regarding machine tool industries. The Committee also conducts various publicizing activities.

5. GENERAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

The Committee is principally in charge of all general affairs for the personnel of the association, and establishes the annual budget, internal rules and regulations for the association.
The Committee is also responsible to hold the annual meeting and the Board Meeting of the association.

6. REGIONAL GROUP COMMITTEES

The Committees consist of East, Middle and West Regions. Each Committee conducts regional meetings to facilitate communication and discussion amongst members on each regional level and makes plan to develop their activities such as increase of members. The Committees also organize factory inspections of the machine tool builders and users, and educational lecture meetings for the regional members.
